Pronto Freelance Support and Administration

I have been a long term user of Pronto and have worked in various businesses each with their own special rquirements. I have previously assisted Pronto users as a Freelance Consultant, and am ready to do this again.

In my tenure at Pronto Software which was over a period that just fell short of six years, I was firstly involved in help desk support, training and implementation. The helpdesk gives an all round perspective of the product as on any day you can be given tasks from any module. This aspect of my tenure also involved development ideas and testing of the software before release to clients.

Towards the end of my time at Pronto I was involved in the documentation process and all on line documentation as seen now was initially written by me. This covered all modules except Plant Maintenance. Documentation involved testing of each function in order to properly describe its use which has given me an overall ability to use all aspects of Pronto over and above those areas I have dealt with as an end user.

Whilst at Pronto my main training and support focus was on the finance and inventory side of the software. I have a very good knowledge of the General Ledger set up, Special Accounts, User Access, Officer Tables, Major Function Flags and the general use in all the Finance and Inventory modules. I also have extensive knowledge of Shipment Processing, Purchasing and Sales.

As I have a working understanding of 4GL programming, I am able to address future development options that suit the end user as well as intermediary finance and management needs. I work well in a team environment whether this is with end users, helpdesk staff or programmers and development teams.
